I recently was given a kitten while vacationing in Mexico and want to take it home with me. Is it possible to take it on the plane as my carry on? If so, will I need anything special, like a specific nice of pet carrier?

Americans do not like to be bashed anymore then the immegrants, these people deserve a chance just as our great grandfathers and great grandmother had when they came to America this is supposed to be the land of oppertunity who are you governer of Arizona to decide who gets that chance. Who are you the people where did you arrive from that entitles you to decide this. We are every immegrants right down to the Indians. Nobody has a right to decide who belongs in this country and who doesnt. I have heard excuses and no real truth to why these illegals do not belong here, when the American drug dealers cease cooking your meth, and selling your dop, then that excuse will be real and ring truth the drug war is not only due to the immegrants but to our possess people. Until then you have no right to say who belongs here and who doesnt cuzz we are no better then them. Give the ilegal workers their papers for 6 months to work here let them go home. And just so you Know American companies in mexico pay less then 1.00 a day to build the car parts or truck parts to you paid over 23,000 to 50,000 for. Every time you buy a coke think about it.????

I'm in Mexico and my grandmother recently gave me a kitten to take home with me. What do I have to do so it'll pass the Customs check at the airport? And yes, I am going to receive it vaccinated. I was just wondering if I may need any other kinds of shots or if I need to spay it.

Let's say I'm preggers but I wanna go to Mexico for some drugs. If I gave birth to my child while I was still in Mexico, would it be considered a Mexican? Because, he WAS born in Mexico, right? Just like I'm born in America, so I'm American. It's a hypothetically question, calm your pants.

A month after it was stolen the police recovered it and I now have it back! BUT my husband and I are taking a trip to Mexico (by air) on September 1st and I really don't want to pay $186 to receive a brand new expedited passport. Before anyone gives me crap for not doing this sooner...I just decided yesterday to surprise my husband with the trip and could not have booked it earlier because he was deployed... So anyway back to the issue at hand - I don't want to take the risk of going to Mexico if they are not going to not let me in! Does someone out there have any clue how to find out if the passport is invalid? Now it's been two years since I last traveled out of the country and it was only to Italy but as far as I remember no one scans or checks it in a computer -- but I've certainly been wrong before! Thank you for any help! I called the 800 number from the passport website about five minutes ago and they said they had no way to check it.

These are the ranking FIFA gave for the tourney, what do you think? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_fifa_world_cup Shortly after the final, FIFA issued a final ranking of every team in the tournament. The ranking was based on progress in the competition, overall results and quality of the opposition. 1. Spain: I think this may be the first time where the favorites actually won the WC lol 2. Netherlands: They did good. I imagined they were a contendor and they did not fail to contend. 3. Germany: they were as usual an overachieving team this tourney 4. Uruguay: I knew they were below-rated, but I didn't think they would receive that far. 5. Argentina: Didn't expect them to do that good below Maradona pre-tourney tbh, since we barely qualified lol. 6. Brazil: expected more from them, but QFs is still a good result. 7. Ghana: I'm glad an African team got this far, I was worried they would every go down in the group stages. 8. Paraguay: Proving that South America is more than just Argentina and Brazil:) 9. Japan: I have high hopes for Asian teams. 10. Chile: Put up a great display against Spain, even tho they lost to them, but managed to tie it up while being 1 man down. Not so great against Brasil tho. 11. Portugal: Another good display, didn't reach the semis this time, but went down to the eventual champs. 12. United States: A good display by the US, set with lots of drama and controversy. 13. England: Thought they were contendors, but apparantly not. Not as dismal as some European powers, but still not that good. 14. Mexico: Not every that inspiring, but they did put up a good match against France. 15. Korea Republic: Another Asian potential power. 16. Slovakia: A big suprise in the group of 16! 17. Côte d'Ivoire: had tough competition. 18. Slovenia: What I expected I guess. Provided the one win for England:P 19. Switzerland: Good defensive footie against Spain, but then they fell apart. 20. South Africa: First time a host gets droped in the group stages, but not a big footie power. They were good hosts. 21. Australia: Not inspiring like they were in 2006. 22. New Zealand: inspiring, did more than expected of them. 23. Serbia: Beat Germany, but then went out in a whisper. 24. Denmark: I think I missed every of their matches lol. 25. Greece: pretty dismal for the 2004 Euro champs. 26. Italy: Very needy. My heart went out to them as my 2nd fav team, but they deserved what they got. 27. Nigeria: Dismal 28. Algeria: Didn't expect much from them tbh. 29. France: Worst display for a European power since..well...their 2002 display:P 30. Honduras: Hey they got a point against the only team that beat Spain. Didn't expect much tbh. 31. Cameroon: Horrible dissapointment 32. Korea DPR: everyone thought they would receive last place....and they got last place....no suprise at every.

America is a country for Americans and is made up of people from every around the world. The majority of whom adore America and put their country first. Generation after generation of immigrants have arrive to America legally, embraced America and its people, defended America, and have become a part of American culture....a vast melting pot of uniqueness and diversity. America is white, black, brown, tall, short, and round. That said, every country has its checkered history…..Times when a country's citizens were not treated fairly by other citizens within that country. This is true with America and every other country out there. It is also true that other countries have treated other countries poorly. It is also true that other countries have sacrificed to support other countries in need. We are now living in 2010. America is filled with people who are bitter. They are bitter that parts of America are no longer a part of their homeland. They feel this land was taken unjustly. Let me ask them this. America is made up of individuals from every around the world that are bonded by a country. Many of them weren't even in America when America bought land previously known as Mexican territories. Many of them are from Mexico themselves. Do you really think that anybody living in America today had anything to do with America's purchase and/or takeover of land from Mexico (most of which was a desert)? It's not like Mexico doesn't have plenty of desert now. Why aren't Mexicans turning that desert into to something meaningful? Do you know what would happen if America gave back territories that were previously Mexican territories? If Americans wiped everything away from those territories before handing them back; no infrastructure; no nothing; just a desert like when America first occupied those territories?....It would remain a desert and a part of a 3rd world country that treats its people horribly! Do many of you really feel the right to hold the Americans of today accountable for actions that took place over 150 years ago? The truth is. Mexicans haven't been able to develop an America. They are not even close to achieving an America. Now, many of them simply want what America offers. Why not have machismo since you guys claim to have so much of it? Why not be brave and battle for what you believe in instead of some cowardly invasion leeching off of the Americans today that had nothing to do with the American/Mexican relations in the 1800s? It's nothing more than an excuse for the failures of Mexico and its people and it’s an easy one for Mexicans to use. The cowardly invasion of illegals from Mexico and the support of Mexican Americans and Latinos who have piggy-backed off of illegals from Mexico is nothing more than a race-based agenda every of which is below the untrue and uneducated pretence that the Americans of today some how owe something to Mexicans. We don't. Americans aren't going about their lives thinking about how proud they are of Davey Crockett. If you have a problem with Americans, you have a problem with the white, black, brown, tall, short, and round....people whose families came from every over the world and are now united below the bond of being American. Why not just arrive out and say what you really mean? Why not arrive out and say that you hold the white man accountable for Mexico's problems and the Mexican people's problems? Why not arrive out and say that you think black people are racist? Why not arrive out and say how that Mexicans who have assimilated into American culture, have gotten education, and have done something with their lives but do not support illegal immigration are traitors to the Mexican people? American's are sleepy of your excuses. We're sleepy of supporting you. We're sleepy of being leeched off of. We're sleepy of every of your untrue rhetoric. We're sleepy of you dipping your hands into our wallets without permission. We're sleepy of having thousands of Americans killed annually by illegal immigrants. arrive out and say what you're really thinking. Of course, you won't, because then every of America will really know what you're about....you and yours alone!

Hey everyone, I am a first-generation Mexican-American (my parents were born and raised in Mexico while I was born and raised here). Ever since I was born my friends and people would call me chicano, which is a term that generally means an American-born Mexican. But the term Chicano, to me, has always been a pet-peeve of mine, and from my viewpoint it has had a negative connotation in society. When I think of chicano I think of gangsters, low-life thugs, people who wear Virgin Mary t-shirts, have tattoos, wear baggy clothes, and steer low-riders, uneducated and the like. I've always preferred Latino or Mexican-American. It just sounds better. The other day I had an argument with a "Chicano". He felt I was better than him because I arrive from a middle-class family. I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with degrees in International Relations and History, and I talk with proper English, and dress casually. Personally, I don't think I'm better than anyone. I was brought up differently. Then I said that please don't call me Chicano. I am Mexican-American, which maybe I shouldn't have said. But I'm sick of being referred as "Chicano". Anyway, are there any Mexican-Americans who dislike the term Chicano? I don't even like to be called Hispanic either because I am not from a Spanish speaking country. I'm from the USA. I've always felt that Chicanos are those who were 2nd generation and beyond.

I'm thinking Immigration Reform. During the Bush years when they could have had an immigration reform bill they did nothing, unless you can call exploiting cheap labor from Mexico as doing nothing. While luring these people across the border for jobs, they sounded alarm bells and threatened to load them every into cattle cars and deport them, every the while winking at the Home Builders Assoc., Walmart and the chicken processors. Now with the Republican led housing fiasco in flames and no jobs, they receive to demonize the very people they lured here in the first place. In other words, people got wealthy off the Mexican's meat and now are through with him and want him to leave. Eddie Haskell couldn't have devised a better and more smart scam against the Beaver and Wally Cleaver. Eddie walked off with the money and blamed someone else.

Why aren't every newscaster and libertal screaming from the roof tops? http://www.silive.com/northshore/index.ssf/2010/07/mexico_condemns_staten_island.html It is because the suspects are not white. Does Calderon needs to go back to Washington and protest the law in Arizona. Clearly everything is fine in his country, what say you ? MEXICO CITY — The United States has closed its consulate in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez to carry out a security review amid spiraling drug gang-related violence, officials said Friday. The indefinite shutdown of the facility comes after the fatal shootings in March of three people linked to the US consulate in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico's notorious crime capital. "The US consulate general in Ciudad Juarez has closed to review its security posture," said a statement released by the US embassy in Mexico City. "The facility will be closed every day on Friday, July 30, and remain closed until the security review is completed." US officials added: "American citizens are advised avoid the area around the consulate general until it reopens." In Washington, State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told reporters that the consulate was closed because "there is some threat information that we've received that we're evaluating." But "it's difficult to know" whether the threat information concerns the broad area around the consulate or is "more specific to the consulate itself," Crowley added. He described the consulate as "a very significant facility for" the United States as it is a "major component of our ability to process these (visa) applications for Mexicans wishing to arrive to the United States." Mexico has been gripped by drug-related bloodshed since President Felipe Calderon launched a military clampdown on the country's powerful drug gangs after taking office in December 2006. In March this year gunmen killed Lesley Enriquez, an American working at the consulate, her American husband Arthur Redelfs, and Jorge Alberto Salcido, the Mexican husband of another US consular employee, in ambushes just minutes apart after they left a birthday party in the Mexican city. US and Mexican investigators said they suspected members of the Los Aztecas gang of carrying out the hit. Some 25,000 people have died in drug violence since 2006, including 7,000 this year alone, particularly in towns and cities close the US border. A top leader of Mexico's Sinaloa drug gang, Ignacio "Nacho" Coronel, was killed Thursday while resisting arrest in a military raid in the western Mexican city of Guadalajara, the defense ministry said. Separately the bodies of 15 people, many bearing marks of torture and bullet wounds, were found Thursday along a road in northern Mexico close the US border, an official said. http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5iSJfxeOiLsuxJjNq4Fhek5EGqNdg

Or the prison guards? Mexico prison 'let inmates out to kill'Prisoners from Gómez Palacio carried out drug-related killings, including a massacre of 17 people last week, prosecutors allege. Guards and officials at a prison in northern Mexico allegedly let inmates out, lent them guns and sent them off in official vehicles to carry out drug-related killings, including the massacre of 17 people last week, federal prosecutors said yesterday. After carrying out the killings the inmates would return to their cells, the office of Mexico's attorney general said, a revelation that was shocking even for a country wearied by years of drug violence and corruption. "According to witnesses, the inmates were allowed to leave with authorisation of the prison director ... to carry out instructions for revenge attacks using official vehicles and using guards' weapons for executions," office spokesman Ricardo Najera said at a news conference in Mexico City. The director of the prison in Gómez Palacio in Durango state and three other officials were placed below a form of home arrest pending further investigation. No charges have yet been filed. Prosecutors said the prison-based hit squad is suspected in three mass shootings, including the 18 July attack on a party in the city of Torreón, which is close Gómez Palacio. In that incident, gunmen fired indiscriminately into a crowd of mainly young people in a rented hall, killing 17 people, including women. Police found more than 120 bullet casings at the scene, and Najera said tests matched those casings to four assault rifles assigned to guards at the prison. http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jul/26/mexico-prison-accused-inmates-out
